The Minister of Supply chairs the meeting of the General Assembly of the Holding Company for Silos and Storage after its reshaping

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, chaired the meeting of the General Assembly of the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos and Storage, after its reshaping, in the presence of the members of the General Assembly and the new board of directors.

During the meeting, the company’s financial statements were discussed and approved for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2024, where the company’s financial and operational performance was reviewed, and the efforts made to develop the infrastructure of the grain storage system, enhancing the efficiency of management The strategic stocks and contributes to achieving the food security of the state. Wheat storage and strategic grains, noting that the company directly contributes to securing the country’s pills by managing and operating a modern network of silos according to the latest technological systems, which contributes to reducing losses and maintaining stock quality.

The Minister also stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between the new board of directors and the General Assembly to achieve strategic targets, enhance the efficiency of employment and management to ensure food security, and develop the sector’s infrastructure in line with the state’s directions.

This meeting comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade to enhance the efficiency of grain storage and management, and support the state’s plans in developing the silos and storage system, in order to achieve the highest rates of safety and quality in preserving strategic pills.
