The Minister of Local Development follows up with the secretaries of all governorates on the latest developments and rates of completion in the reconciliation file
Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, held a meeting with the secretaries of all governorates via video conference, from the headquarters of the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network at the Ministry of Local Development in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of a number of the ministry’s leaders and representatives of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.
The meeting comes within the framework of a series of periodic meetings held by the Minister of Local Development with the Deputy Governors, the Secretary of General, and the Secretaries of All Governorates to determine what has been accomplished in the file of reconciliation over building violations, to which the President of the Republic pays great attention and is followed up periodically by the Chairman of the Council. Ministers, in a way that contributes to advancing the pace of work on the land of the governorates, overcoming any obstacles or challenges, and providing all support and facilitation to citizens in the various governorates of the Republic.
During the meeting, the Minister of Local Development and the General Secretary followed up on the latest developments. In the file of reconciliation on building violations and the achievements made by the governorates to deal with this important file, the rates of governorates’ completion of reconciliation procedures and the measures taken by each governorate to educate citizens and encourage them to submit requests for reconciliation, and the ongoing coordination between the governorates and the Military Survey Authority and the removal of violations and violations monitored by the spatial variables system.
The meeting also witnessed a review of the number of requests that the governorates succeeded in achieving and completing reconciliation, and developments in the executive position of reconciliation requests in accordance with the new law, with regard to data certificates, the total requests submitted and inspected, the inspections recorded on the system, and the responses of the concerned authorities. And the governorates have the highest increase in the number of reconciliation requests for building violations.
Dr. Manal Awad confirmed that the goal of holding this meeting is to work on quickly activating the reconciliation law in some building violations and codifying their status, given the importance of this law. A large segment of citizens, as it will contribute to the stability of their situation, noting the need for the governorates to provide the maximum facilities to citizens in a way that contributes to solving the problems that they may face, stressing to the General Secretaries the need to give the file of reconciliation over building violations the utmost importance during the current period to restore the state’s full rights. And achieving discipline in the construction system in the governorates, and providing all facilities and facilities to citizens during the submission of reconciliation requests.

Submitting and examining applications and taking the necessary measures against violators and those who abstain from reconciliation. The Minister said: The heads of cities and neighborhoods go down themselves and see the violations on the ground and take the necessary measures to complete the reconciliation procedures quickly, and make it easier for the citizen to implement the law and remove all obstacles that prevent its implementation.
The Minister explained Local Development: The Ministry will, during the current period, conduct an evaluation of the performance of all executive leaders, heads of cities and neighborhoods, and directors of technology centers in the governorates, according to their achievement rates in the file of reconciliation of building violations and rewarding and honoring the distinguished, praising the governorates that have achieved high achievement rates over the past three weeks. She stressed the governorates that did not achieve satisfactory reconciliation rates by excluding those who were negligent and escalating new distinguished leaders to bear responsibility and achieve quick and good results in this file and encourage citizens to complete the reconciliation procedures.
Dr. Manal Awad stressed during the meeting the necessity of dealing with all matters. A settlement with the file of building violations and the immediate removal of any violating buildings during the construction stage, stressing that the state is serious about preventing any new violations or transgressions in all governorates, and is also seeking to fully recover its rights, and all necessary measures will be taken to control the building system in the governorates and prevent violating construction, directing the need to benefit from The system of spatial variables in those files.
The Minister of Local Development directed the Ministry’s inspection and control sector to carry out campaigns on the governorates to ensure that they take the measures and facilities that were approved during the last period, explaining that there is a great opportunity for citizens who wish to reconcile. To correct their situation regarding building violations in accordance with the new law and not be subject to the removal of the violations.
Dr. Manal Awad praised the efforts made by some governorates in this file during the past three weeks, which were able to achieve a noticeable increase in the number of reconciliation requests submitted and their completion. The Minister called on to follow up on any problems that hinder work and coordinate with all concerned parties to solve them in coordination with the Ministry.
The Minister of Local Development appealed to citizens who wish to reconcile quickly to submit their requests and take advantage of the facilities decided by the state to legalize their situation to preserve their real estate wealth. And avoiding penalties and removal work, noting that a large portion of the amounts that will be collected from the reconciliation law for building violations will be reflected in the development process in the governorates and raising the level of services in villages, cities, and neighborhoods, and its results will return to the citizen again.
