Mohamed Gebran, Minister of Labor, chaired, today, Monday, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, a “Social Dialogue” meeting, for consultation, regarding the draft new labor law. Minister Gebran stressed the importance of this meeting, as it discusses the draft A law, one of the most important pieces of legislation that Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, directed to quickly present to the “Social Dialogue” and present it to the House of Representatives in its current session, to issue it in a balanced manner, and with the agreement of all concerned parties. He also directed the inclusion of some new provisions that must be included in the draft labor law, including the system of pooling rest in free zones, the establishment of a fund for persons with disabilities who are unable to work in work sites of a special nature, and the inclusion of a complete chapter regulating irregular employment and new work patterns. The meeting witnessed a "presentation" It explains the philosophy of the draft labor law, “the version approved by the Senate,” which is presented for discussion and consultation, and which includes 14 chapters and 267 articles, relating to all types of labor relations between the two parties to the production process..
