The launching ceremony of the electronic voting project and the complaints and performance measurement program at the Administrative Prosecution Marwa Mustafa Shahd Counselor Adnan Fanjari, Minister of Justice, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, celebrated the Administrative Prosecution Authority, headed by Counselor Abdel-Radi Siddiq, Chairman of the Authority, with the official launch of the electronic voting project and the complaints and performance measurement program, in the presence of the heads of judicial authorities and bodies, And a group of leaders from both the Ministry of Justice and judicial authorities and bodies.
The activities included a simulation of the electronic voting process conducted by the Minister of Justice, with the participation of the Ministers of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Youth and Sports, and the heads of judicial authorities and bodies. They also listened to an explanation about the system for submitting and receiving citizen complaints and working to resolve them through communication with administrative authorities. If the complaints are related to corruption or errors, they are investigated and the complaints are referred to the competent courts.
The Minister of Justice directed the necessity of linking the complaints system to the Civil Status Authority and coordinating with other authorities in the event that a citizen submits more than one complaint, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the necessity of constantly striving and adopting everything that is modern to facilitate the situation for citizens.
The electronic voting program aims to develop the information infrastructure and services provided by the Administrative Prosecution Authority in order to develop means and techniques that keep pace with the rapid technological development and build an integrated information society that contributes to simplifying the procedures for performing government services for individuals and institutions and eliminating the interference of the human element in the voting process.
