The Minister of Justice signs a cooperation protocol with the United Nations Family Legal Assistance Programme

Counsel Adnan Fanjri, Minister of Justice, signed a cooperation protocol with the United Nations Development Program regarding family legal aid offices. Counsel Adnan Fanjri, Minister of Justice, said that Egypt is working to protect and support the Egyptian family with a conscious vision that realizes that the family is the foundation of the future of society, and it was important to take care and work. Its commitment to raising good citizens capable of protecting their country and growing in it. 

 

The Minister of Justice confirmed that there are directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to achieve these goals, and to highlight the role of legal aid offices in helping the family in the most difficult times, providing legal advice, raising family awareness, and working to resolve judicial disputes and settle disputes away from the courts.

 

The Minister of Justice explained that signing the memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Development Program represents one of the measures to open new horizons for developing legal aid offices in the most effective manner, developing the digital infrastructure, training cadres, expanding the scope of these offices, and facilitating the provision of various legal services.

 

The Minister of Justice praised the United Nations program and its decades-long efforts to provide legal aid, in addition to the Ministry of Justice’s commitment to overcome all obstacles to ensure the success of the partnership and the achievement of the desired goals.
