The Minister of Housing is following up on the delivery of housing units in the New Valley

The Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, followed up on the delivery of housing units to citizens in the Durrat El Wadi project, which is implemented by the Housing Finance Fund in the January 25th neighborhood in the city of Kharga in the New Valley Governorate, pointing out that this project is built on an area of ​​50 acres that was allocated by the Governorate. New Valley to establish a fully finished residential neighborhood.

 

Al-Sherbiny explained that the project comes within the framework of The directives of the political leadership to provide housing units that suit and suit the various segments of society, stressing the speedy completion of the delivery of housing units allocated to citizens.

 

In turn, Engineer Hisham Darwish, Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors, stated Housing Finance stated that the Durrat Al Wadi project consists of 101 buildings with a total of 2032 units. The implementation and sale of the first phase has been completed, with 26 buildings with a total of 520 housing units, and 500 units have been delivered. Residential units for the unit holders, and procedures for handing over the rest of the units are being completed.

He indicated that the phase includes 52 fully finished administrative units, and 104 semi-finished commercial stores of different sizes, and the necessary measures are being taken to hold a public auction to sell these units. To provide various services to citizens, the project also includes 75 plots of land with areas ranging from “313 m2 to 1047 m2”.
