Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, discussed with Sanofi officials French ways of cooperation to provide basic medicines for chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases at affordable prices, in addition to cooperation in the field of local manufacturing of pharmaceutical preparations through establishing partnerships between Sanofi and Egyptian pharmaceutical manufacturing companies to increase local production capacity and reduce costs. This came during Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar’s meeting with Sanofi officials, following his visit to the company’s headquarters in France, on the sidelines of the “Egyptian-French Business” Forum.
