The Minister of Foreign Affairs chairs a meeting to follow up on the implementation of the National Human Rights Strategy
Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration and Chairman of the Permanent Supreme Committee for Human Rights, chaired today, Saturday, a meeting to follow up on the implementation of the National Human Rights Strategy and prepare for the comprehensive periodic review session of human rights in Egypt, scheduled to be held at the International Human Rights Council in Geneva on January 28.
The meeting was attended by Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, Minister of Parliamentary, Legal and Political Affairs, Dr. Diaa Rashwan, Head of the State Information Service, and the heads of the National Councils for Women. Childhood, motherhood, persons with disabilities, the National Coordinating Committee to Combat and Prevent Illegal Migration and Human Trafficking, and senior officials from relevant national authorities.
