The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration receives a phone call from his South African counterpart

Today, Friday, Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, received a phone call from Mr. Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation in South Africa, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and deepen cooperation frameworks at the political and economic levels. The two ministers discussed issues of interest. The two ministers praised the level of coordination and consultation existing between the two countries, and expressed their aspiration to hold a round of political consultations between the two sides as soon as possible to address bilateral and regional issues and topics of relevance. Common interest.

 

Minister Abdel-Ati stressed the importance of strengthening economic ties, increasing the volume of intra-trade and the flow of investments between the two countries, and benefiting from the great potential that the two countries possess, stressing the importance of Taking practical steps to explore multiple trade and investment opportunities and encourage the business communities in both countries.

 

The two ministers also stressed their aspiration to activate cooperation between national investment bodies and chambers of commerce in order to facilitate and encourage Participation of the private sector to support economic cooperation.
