The Minister of Electricity receives the Governor of the New Valley to discuss the expansion of solar energy projects
Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, received Major General Mohamed Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the Administrative Capital, and a meeting was held to discuss developments in the implementation of renewable energy projects and the expansion of the use of solar stations to provide the necessary electricity for all uses within the governorate, especially development and manufacturing projects. The meeting, in the presence of Engineer Sabah Mashali, Deputy Minister, discussed the executive position of many projects to support the electrical network. Esmat stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and its affiliated companies and bodies to continue efforts within the framework of the urgent plan to improve electricity services and support development plans in the various governorates of the Republic, especially the New Valley Governorate, by providing the necessary electrical supply for strategic projects and implementing the plan.
