The invention of a flexible washable battery

Researchers at the University of British Columbia have created a flexible battery that can be folded and even washed. It is planned to be used to make clothes

The battery is based on zinc and manganese components. The scientists incorporated these components into the polymer in the form of ultra-thin flexible layers. It is noted that, if desired, they can be combined into one panel.
These batteries can extend twice. To date, the maximum number of washes that the battery can withstand is 39 times.

It is reported that after 500 charge cycles, the upgrade retains 75% capacity.

Scientists want to significantly increase the power of the new battery and extend its life.
