The head of the Medicines Authority discusses ways to enhance cooperation with the Veterinarians Syndicate
Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, held a meeting with Dr. Magdy Hassan, General Head of the Veterinarians Syndicate, Vice President of the Federation of Medical Professions Syndicates, and President of the Arab Veterinarians Union, in the presence of Dr. Hanan Amin, Head of the Central Administration for Pharmaceuticals, and Dr. Osama Hatem, Assistant Chairman of the Authority for Policy and International Cooperation Affairs and Supervisor of the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Policies, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation and support the veterinary system.
The meeting discussed a number of important topics related to the regulation and circulation of veterinary medicines, most notably Mechanisms for monitoring the distribution of medicines and the entities authorized to trade them, with emphasis on the importance of following up on supply chains to prevent any accumulation or shortage of veterinary medicines and ensure their continued provision to meet the needs of the sector.
