Accountant Fathi Shalabi, head of the Martyrs Center and City in Menoufia Governorate, received Brigadier General Walid Wajih, representative of Dar Al-Handasah, advisor to the Council of Ministers, and engineer Muhammad Hassan and engineer Abanoub Fikri, in the presence of Amal Tawash, director of planning in the local unit, during yesterday’s meeting to discuss the mechanism for delivering the completed presidential initiative projects to improve the level of services provided to citizens in All sectors.
The presidential initiative “A Decent Life” is one of the largest national projects that aims to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and the methods of providing them to raise the standard of living of 60 million citizens residing in the Egyptian countryside in order to achieve comprehensive development for the most needy rural communities in terms of economic, social, cultural, environmental and family aspects.
Mohamed Moussa, Deputy Governor of Menoufia, had held a coordination meeting to follow up on the latest developments in the delivery status of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative projects in various sectors in the villages of the Ashmoun and Al-Shuhada centers, which have been completed and will be put into service before citizens to improve the quality of services provided, in the presence of the heads of the local units of the Ashmoun and Al-Shuhada centers, representatives of the authority. Engineering for the Armed Forces, Dar Al-Handasah, directors of the social solidarity, health, and gas directorates, representatives of roads, the electricity company, youth and sports, and the general director of strategic management. In the General Court, a number of specialized agencies, in light of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, to continuously and periodically follow up on the mechanisms for implementing the national project “A Decent Life” to determine the volume of work carried out to accelerate completion rates and achieve a qualitative leap in the level of services in the villages of the Egyptian countryside.
The implementation rates for all remaining projects in the various sectors were discussed, each project separately within the villages of the two centers, and all obstacles were overcome to avoid observations, and appropriate solutions were developed and urgent measures were taken to receive them according to the timetables, as well as a review of the total number of projects for which delivery procedures were completed in the various sectors. It is scheduled to enter service before citizens to contribute to achieving a qualitative shift in the level of services provided.
For his part, the Governor of Menoufia stressed the importance of unifying efforts and full coordination between the various concerned parties to speed up the completion of all projects being implemented and deliver them according to the specified timings, as the initiative is a national and vital project aimed at promoting and improving the level of quality of services provided to our people in the villages of the Egyptian countryside.
