The Greater Cairo Library participates in the Long Live Egypt Sustainable Youth Camp in Sharm El Sheikh

The Greater Cairo Library participated in the first camp of Long Live Egypt Youth in Sharm El-Sheikh with two first workshops under the title “The Role of Information Technology in Sustainable Development” The second was about “The Risks of Climate Change on Sustainable Development Programs.”

 

The first workshop emphasized the importance of information technology in contributing to the implementation of sustainable development programs because of its capabilities to collect and store information. Analyzing and preparing it for decision makers to make appropriate decisions and draw up plans and strategies for working on long-term development programs to achieve the idea of ​​environmental sustainability.

The climate change workshop also included a presentation of the risks of climate change on strategies for collective development action and mechanisms for reducing environmental pollution.< /p>

 

The writer Abdullah Nour El-Din, Director of Cultural Activity at the Greater Cairo Library, said that the camp was an opportunity for young people to share visions, ideas, and broad lines of work towards achieving sustainable development goals.
