The Grand Mufti of the Republic: We face intellectual and cultural challenges that seek to destroy values and dismantle the family

Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayad, the Mufti of the Republic, and the head of the General Secretariat of the role and advisory bodies in the world, said: Talking about the family is no longer the same as the saying, but it has become one of the most important duties, given the systematic intellectual and cultural challenges it faces that seeks to destroy values and dismantle the family entity, which is a direct threat to the stability of the entire society. He delivered it in the workshop organized by the National Center for Social and Criminal Research under the title: & quot; Egyptian Family Issues: Challenges and ways of confrontation. The daughter of the family is no longer in isolation from the intellectual, cultural and behavioral transformations around it, which made it necessary to integrate religious, scientific and societal efforts to preserve this basic entity, which is the nucleus of society and its first place & quot;

and his virtue indicated that the Egyptian Fatwa House follows these transformations with great interest, great attention, It seeks to keep pace with the problems that affect the stability and cohesion of the family, explaining that one of the most dangerous challenges facing the family today is the growing effect of social media, and what it carries & quot; false concepts in which the facts are mixed with delusions, through which it is promoted to exotic ideas that seek to dismantle values and blur Identity & quot;

and the Mufti warned of the systematic intellectual and cultural invasion that aims to hit family stability and distort its features, by spreading ideas that are incompatible with our religious and moral system, such as: homosexuality, escaping freedom, and delaying the principles that maintain balance within the family. Therefore, talking about family issues is a talk about societal security and national stability, no less important than other major issues & quot;

and emphasizing that family protection is inseparable from protecting the national identity, saying: & quot; our national identity is made up of: religion, language, history, values, and there are systematic attempts to obliterate this identity, It calls for a conscious and solid pause to protect the Egyptian person from cultural melting & quot;

The Mufti concluded his speech, stressing the importance of adopting a Rashid religious discourse that keeps pace with challenges, saying: & quot; Balance within the family, enhancing the values of affection and mercy, and addressing the moral and intellectual challenges that threaten the cohesion of society. There is no doubt that scientific meetings and interactive workshops like this are a step in the right path towards building a strong, coherent society, which raises the family and protects it from disintegration and loss & quot;
