The governor directs quickly to put forward the remaining projects in the plan to benefit citizens
Engineer Adel El-Naggar, Governor of Giza, chaired a coordination meeting to discuss and review Mechanisms for implementing investment plan projects for the fiscal year 2024/2025.
The Governor of Giza reviewed the implementation rates of projects included in the investment plan for each local unit separately, and the position of offering projects whose implementation has not yet begun, directing the necessity of raising A detailed periodic report that includes the percentages of completion of the implementation of the plan’s projects, and the challenges, to take the necessary decisions that would maintain the regularity of work progress, with the aim of maximizing the benefit from the allocated amounts, as well as providing better services to citizens in the villages, centers and neighborhoods of the governorate in accordance with the directives of the political leadership and the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan.< /p>
The Governor of Giza also stressed the necessity of setting a timetable for each project from the beginning of the approved plan, and quickly implementing the projects included in the plan at the level of neighborhoods, centers, cities, and service directorates in accordance with the specified timetables, and working to raise performance rates. < /p>
Al-Najjar directed the need for all executive agencies in the governorate to come together and coordinate among themselves to overcome all obstacles facing the implementation of projects of public benefit.
During the meeting, the position of a number of projects targeted by the new related plan was reviewed. Public benefit, which in turn contributes to improving the services provided to citizens in a number of diverse sectors, including the paving sector, improving the environment, extending and strengthening electricity networks and cleaning equipment, completing and establishing model parking lots and markets, and projects for paving and developing a number of vital roads in the centers and cities of the governorate were discussed.
The Governor of Giza directed continuous follow-up & field presence to follow up on the projects of the new investment plan and to overcome all business obstacles to accelerate the pace of work on the projects planned to be implemented and to fully adhere to all technical specifications and standards for business quality, indicating his field follow-up on On the ground for all projects in various sectors to determine the implementation rates and performance rates.
During the meeting, the governor was tasked with forming a specialized committee to visit neighborhoods, centers, and cities and review the condition of equipment and vehicles and the extent to which some of them need comprehensive maintenance in order to preserve public money, work efficiency, and benefit.
