The Governor of Giza agrees to reduce the percentage of contract applicants for legalization requests to 15%

The Governor of Giza, Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, agreed to reduce the percentage of contract applicants for legalization requests to 15%, which applies to all cases that have not been contracted to date, and the remainder is to be paid in annual installments with a return of 7% in accordance with the established rules, and this is valid for a period of 45 days.&nbsp

The governorate stated – in a statement today, Tuesday – that all those who fail to pay the sales installments will be given a 45-day grace period to pay those installments, in addition to the legally prescribed interest of 7% for the period from the date of payment of the contract advance percentage until the date of payment. They will be exempted from the late fine, provided that the period of reduction and exemption from late fines ends on December 24th.

 

She explained that this comes based on the directives of the political leadership to reduce the burden on citizens and to encourage For citizens to pay state dues (contract advances – usufruct rights) and others who have submitted legalization requests in accordance with Law No. 144 of 2017 regarding some rules and procedures for disposing of state property.
