The Governor of Gharbia confirms the acceleration of the pace of reconciliation and legalization and the intensification of oversight campaigns

This evening, Major General Ashraf El Gendy, Governor of Gharbia, chaired the weekly meeting with the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Issa, Deputy Governor, and Major General Ahmed Anwar, Secretary General of the Governorate, to follow up on the progress of work on vital files and basic services.

The governor began the meeting by emphasizing the importance of intensifying efforts to end reconciliation files on building and legalization violations, indicating that surprise field tours will continue to ensure adherence to the unified work methodology, stressing that no laxity or negligence will be permitted by any official, with the aim of accelerating the pace of completion and improving the services provided. The governor reviewed the executive position on the legalization file, including the total number of applications submitted, the extent to which they meet the conditions, and the steps taken to overcome obstacles to achieve the goal. He also directed the heads of centers and cities to facilitate procedures for citizens, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, headed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to simplify procedures and solve problems first. At the level of supply control, the governor stressed the intensification of daily inspection campaigns on bakeries, markets and sales outlets, with the aim of combating monopolistic practices and commercial fraud. He emphasized taking deterrent legal measures against any violations detected, to ensure the provision of goods to citizens with appropriate quality and prices.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Governor of Gharbia stressed the importance of continuous field presence to follow up on the services provided to citizens, noting that interest in improving government performance, especially in sectors that affect citizens’ daily lives, is an essential commitment to achieving the vision of the political leadership in raising the standard of living of citizens throughout the governorates. .
