The Governor of Cairo stresses the important role of the media in conveying the problems of citizens

 Today, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, witnessed the eighth scientific conference of the Faculty of Information at the Modern University for Technology and Information, “Media, Image Industry, and Reputation Management.” It was held under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, Dr. Olfat Kamel, President of the Modern University for Technology and Information, and was chaired by Dr. Sami Al-Sharif, Dean of the University’s Faculty of Information.

The Governor of Cairo confirmed the role. The main role played by the media in introducing national projects and infrastructure projects, and confronting rumors targeting the efforts made by the state to serve… Citizens. 

The Cairo Governor also pointed out the importance of the media’s oversight role, conveying citizens’ problems, and delivering correct information to them.

The conference aims to shed light on the role played by the media in shaping The mental image of countries, companies, institutions, and public figures.

A large number of deans and professors of media at Egyptian universities, politicians, media experts, editors-in-chief, program presenters, and artists participated in the conference. The conference was witnessed by Engineer Ashraf Mansour, Deputy Governor of the Southern Region.
