The Governor of Assiut inspects Al-Iman General Hospital and stresses the necessity of availability of medicines
Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, reassured that medical services were adequately provided to patients at Al-Iman General Hospital during a field tour in an effort to provide better medical service to the people of the governorate. This is part of his series of tours to a number of public and central hospitals to monitor discipline and ensure the presence of medical staff and the availability of medicines and medical supplies.
During the tour, Oyoun Ibrahim, head of the West Assiut district, Dr. Mohamed Sayed, deputy director of Al-Iman General Hospital, and Dr. Mohamed Refaat, deputy hospital administrator, agreed, as the governor of Assiut inspected the reception and emergency department, then the examination room, and the critical cases departments for men and women in the hospital to determine the level of services provided to patients.
The governor was reassured by the doctors present about the health condition of the patients in those departments, and he was keen to speak with those who frequented the hospital and the accompanying people and inquired from them about the level of service and care provided to them to ensure their satisfaction with the medical services provided to them, calling on the doctors to continue providing medical and therapeutic care to the patients.
Abu Al-Nasr stressed his continuous monitoring of the health system in hospitals, medical centers and health units in the centers and cities of the governorate at different times of the day, ensuring that deterrent measures are taken against violators and rewarding those who excel, stressing the necessity of the availability of medicines and medical supplies along with good treatment of citizens and the provision of the health service necessary for their care, pointing out: Efforts undertaken by the state to support the health sector, develop hospitals, and enable them to receive the highest level of medical services, including examination, dispensing treatment, and other services.
