He expressed The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration expressed Egypt’s keenness to contribute to the implementation of development projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, especially in the fields of energy and infrastructure. He announced Egypt’s contribution to financing the MBANKANA 1 dam, which is located on one of the tributaries of the River Congo, within the framework of Egypt’s commitment to supporting the development needs of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In this context, he noted Egypt’s launch of a mechanism to finance development projects in the southern Nile Basin countries, as well as the establishment of a specialized wing.
