The Foreign Minister holds a meeting with the Ugandan Minister of Tourism to enhance cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, held a meeting today, Thursday, with Ugandan Minister of Tourism, Tim Butem. On the sidelines of his visit to Kampala.

The Ugandan minister expressed his aspiration to enhance cooperation with Egypt in the field of tourism, especially through joint promotion of tourism by launching joint programs that allow bringing foreign tourists from abroad to visit a number of countries on a unified trip.  

 

He also touched on the desire of the Republic of Uganda to benefit from the accumulated Egyptian experience in the field of tourism in light of Egypt’s expanded activity in the field of tourism and its being a historical tourist country, and its enjoyment of cadres and expertise. In this field, as well as the possibility of helping Egyptian tourism companies transfer expertise to support the promotion of Ugandan tourism potential.

 

The Ugandan Minister thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Egypt’s distinguished participation in the annual tourism exhibition. Ugandan, hoping to continue joint support in the field of tourism between the two countries to achieve mutual benefit.
