The Foreign Minister discusses with the Egyptian candidate for the position of Director General of UNESCO, the future move plan for the nomination campaign

Dr. Badr Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, discussed during his meeting with Dr. Khaled Al -Anani, the former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and the Egyptian candidate for the position of Director General of UNESCO, the future movement plan for the nomination campaign, in preparation for the elections that will be held in October 2025. Dr. Khaled Al -Anani informed Minister Abdel -Ati about the latest developments in the nomination campaign, including the visit he made to the French capital, Paris, to participate in the interviews held by the UNESCO Executive Council for the candidates for the position of Director General on April 9, which represented an important station in the Egyptian nomination path, during which Dr. Al -Anani reviewed his electoral vision that came based on the visions that he listened to during his electoral tours over the past two years, It included more than 45 countries. Minister Abdel -Ati stressed – during the meeting – that the campaign will continue to mobilize international support for the Egyptian, Arab and African nomination during the coming period, pointing to the importance that Egypt attaches to supporting the Egyptian candidate, and its right to obtain this high international position in view of the high regional and international position it enjoys, and its pioneering role in the fields of education, science and culture. & nbsp;
