The Foreign Minister and the Qatari Prime Minister stress the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza
Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Qatar, affirmed the constants of the two countries’ positions on developments in the Gaza Strip, and the necessity of achieving an immediate ceasefire in the Strip and the entry of humanitarian aid completely and without Conditions.
This came during the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ reception today, Wednesday, of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the Minister Abdel Ati welcomed the Qatari official’s visit to Egypt, which comes within the framework of intensifying communications and coordination to strengthen fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, and to build on the qualitative shift witnessed in bilateral relations at all political, economic and investment levels.
With regard to developments in the Middle East The two ministers exchanged views on regional issues of common interest, most notably developments in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
