Some social media pages circulated news about an increase in the prices of emergency ambulance services for accidents and critical illnesses. The Cabinet Media Center contacted the Ministry of Health and Population, which denied that news, stressing that there is no truth to the increase in the prices of emergency ambulance services for accidents and illnesses. In addition to expanding the free umbrella of ambulance services to cover sick cases that are incapable of movement and that require receiving treatment in hospitals and transportation by ambulance on a regular basis in accordance with approved medical reports such as ( Cases of dialysis – oncology treatment), provided that they complete the required documents and submit them to the Ambulance Authority branch in their governorates, indicating that the price increase will only apply to non-ambulatory services provided by the Ambulance Authority, such as A person needs an ambulance to leave the hospital after recovery, or insurance services such as securing football matches, securing a conference or elections, or securing a movie filming location.
