The Environment Committee of the Engineers Syndicate obtains 11 thousand trees to be planted within the Plant Initiative
The Environment Committee of the Egyptian General Engineers Syndicate, headed by Dr. Manal Metwally, and under the auspices of the Syndicate’s Head, Engineer Tarek El-Nabrawy, succeeded in its first meeting after announcing and adopting the Plant a Tree Initiative, in receiving a donation of “eleven thousand fruitful olive and mango trees”, which will be planted in one of the ten governorates at a rate of one thousand fruitful olive and mango trees per governorate, each one meter tall.
In line with the vision of the Egyptian state and the instructions of the Prime Minister regarding planting trees in the Republic’s squares for their positive impact on the climate in terms of reducing pollution and lowering the temperature.
It was agreed betweenThe Environment Committee of the Egyptian General Engineers Syndicate, which adopted the Plant a Tree initiative, called for by the Egyptian Engineers Union, headed by Engineer Walaa El Shafei, and her work team, which will begin with the Environment Committee to distribute and plant trees in the governorates. A closed meeting was actually held between Engineer Mohamed Ultras and Engineer Walaa El Shafei to establish a mechanism for distribution. The Environment Committee announced the adoption of the Ideal City Project for the sons of the Guide to Goodness for Development Foundation – People of Determination under the leadership of Engineer Samar Hasaballah, who impressed the committee with all the preparations for the sons of determination who attended with the great project and explained in scientific language the new and renewable energy project and its application to an entire city to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
A delegation from the Energy Committee of the Cairo Syndicate attended, headed by Dr. Ahmed Sultan, Deputy of the Environment Committee, and expressed his happiness with what he saw of the culture and environmental awareness of the sons of The determination.
The head of the Egypt Dream Foundation for Development and Development also donated 4 places in Cop29 to the engineers of the Environment Committee and the Energy Committee of the Cairo Syndicate and to promote children with disabilities in Cop29 and to perform a theatrical work that expresses the culture of these children and instills confidence in their hearts.
Dr. Hanem Sabbagh praised the committee’s efforts and success and that the Plant a Tree initiative is an initiative to preserve the environment and reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which is the basis for the phenomenon of global warming that causes climate changes affecting the entire world.
