The Ministry of Endowments, through the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, organized a Friday meeting for children at Al-Raqib Mosque in the Al-Haram area, within the framework of supporting the axis of human building and within the activities of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning”.
The meeting witnessed a wide attendance from Children and parents under care Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments; Under supervision Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahim al-Bayoumi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. The meeting confirms the Ministry’s interest in raising new generations on national and religious values.
The meeting included educational programs aimed at enhancing awareness of moral values and positive behaviors, in addition to an interactive presentation discussing the extent to which children understand the sermon. Friday, using an educational scenario and puppet theater discussing the topic “Warning against the danger of atonement.”
In her speech, Dr. Hoda Hamid, Director of General of Editing and Publishing – Responsible for the Children’s File at the Ministry of Endowments, the importance of these meetings in building the character of the Egyptian child. She pointed out that the Council is working to provide comprehensive programs to enhance belonging to the homeland and protect children from destructive ideas. She also presented a workshop on patriotism; This significantly increased the children’s interaction.
The artist, Rahma Mahjoub, concluded the meeting with an innovative educational segment that combines entertainment and education. This created an atmosphere of joy and positive interaction for the children and their families. At the conclusion of the activities, symbolic gifts were distributed, such as “Al-Firdaws” magazine; To encourage children and motivate them to participate.
Parents praised the great role played by the Ministry of Endowments and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, stressing their appreciation for transforming mosques into comprehensive educational and cultural environments. The organizers of the meeting also confirmed the continuation of organizing similar activities in various mosques to ensure reaching all children throughout the Republic.
