The Egyptian Engineers Syndicate embraces the activities of the Fifth Arab Forum for Engineering Arbitration

In the presence of Eng. Tariq Al-Nabrawi- Captain of Egypt Engineers and Vice President of the Arab Engineers Union, Engineer Mahmoud Arafat- Secretary General of the Syndicate, Dr. Eng. Adel Al-Hadithi- Secretary General of the Arab Engineers Union, and Professor Dr. Eng. Moataz Tolba- Secretary of the Syndicate, the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate embraced Events & quot; Fifth Arab Forum for Engineering Arbitration & quot; It is held by the Arab Engineering Arbitration Authority & nbsp; Under the auspices of the Federation in cooperation with the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate. The forum is a thorny topic in the Arab region with its impact & quot, hoping that the coming period will witness a long way in this field as it is the subject of interest from all Arab regimes.
He added: that the current period that the Arab world is going through is critical and sensitive, certain The union interacted with everything that is happening in the Arab region, especially the events witnessed by sister Palestine. For his part, Engineer Mahmoud Arafat thanked the Arab Engineers Union for inviting this forum to hold this forum on the land of Egypt, appraisal from the close relationship between the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate and the Arab Engineers Union in their cooperation in everything related to engineering activities in the Arab countries, stressing the full support of the union to the union in each Engineering activities, stressing the union’s general secretariat’s readiness to cooperate in organizing any engineering activity called by the Arab Engineering Arbitration Authority and the Federation in general for the benefit of the engineers of the Arab world.
While Dr. Adel Al -Hadithi indicated that the Arab Engineers Union plays a pivotal role Promoting and developing engineering arbitration in the Arab world, through the establishment of the Arab Engineering Arbitration Authority, pointing to the Federation’s contribution to building an integrated and effective Arab arbitration system, explaining that the union with the challenges it faces remains committed to its role in supporting Arab engineers and enhancing cooperation between them.
The activities of the forum witnessed the holding of four axes of discussion on the first axis (engineering arbitration), where Professor Dr. & quot, Moataz Tolba & quot; Highlighting the definition of engineering arbitration, its advantages, disadvantages, powers, the terms of the engineering arbitrator and the difference between the judge and the arbitrator, the terms of the arbitrator in the arbitration bodies, how to formulate contracts, and the engineering arbitration laws Arably and internationally. While Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al -Sawy & quot; modern judicial applications on challenging the provisions of engineering arbitration & quot, and the relationship of the judiciary to engineering arbitration, and the second axis dealt with international developments in the laws and regulations of arbitration, where Eng. Tawfiq Sinan from the State of Lebanon shed light on the arbitration and real estate evaluation, and the relationship between Real estate experience and engineering arbitration. The definition of financing and its importance in facilitating access to justice, and the philosophy of financing arbitration from others, while Dr. Nasser Al -Mutairi from Kuwait dealt with the experience of arbitration centers in the State of Kuwait, which is based on three arbitration centers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kuwait Lawyers Association, and the Engineering Center for Mediation and Arbitration of the Association Kuwaiti engineers, which is a non -purposeful center for profit and provides a less expensive service than the judiciary and faster. In the Saudi construction industry, pointing out that there is a demand from government agencies and major companies to settle their disputes through arbitration. While the third axis, which was directed by Prof. Dr. Moataz Tolba, dealt with alternative means to settle engineering disputes, in which Eng. Nasser Al -Mutairi from Kuwait, Dr. Faisal Al -Sharif from Saudi Arabia, and Engineer Mohamed Ghoula spoke from Libya.
