The Egyptian Embassy in Beirut publishes an announcement for members of the Egyptian community wishing to return to the homeland
The Egyptian Embassy in Beirut announced that to facilitate the Egyptian citizens present and residing in Lebanon, who wish to return to the homeland and do not hold a valid Egyptian passport (as a result of the loss of the passport or the expiration of its validity period), it calls on them to quickly go to the embassy headquarters to work on obtaining A travel document.
This comes in light of the current security developments taking place in Lebanon.
The Egyptian embassy explained – in an “important announcement to the members of the Egyptian community In Lebanon" It was published today, Tuesday, on its official page on the social networking site Facebook – that Egyptian citizens who do not hold a valid passport and who will go to the embassy to obtain a travel document must present the official Egyptian papers proving that they have Egyptian nationality and carry their personal photo (original or copy of the expired passport). Or a copy of the lost passport, national ID card, military service certificate, Egyptian driving license, or work permit issued by the Egyptian authorities), in addition to a personal photo.
The Egyptian Embassy indicated that it will receive Requests from citizens wishing to obtain travel documents during working days from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
