The Egyptian Center for Thought participates in the book fair with new publications and events on the crises of the Middle East

The Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies is participating for the fifth time in the Cairo International Book Fair, in its fifty-sixth session, with a large number of new publications covering all issues of the Middle East region, as well as activities in which elite experts in political affairs and international relations participate. &nbsp

The Center participates in a distinguished pavilion in “Hall 3 – A4”, which includes a list of publications in Arabic and English in various fields, as well as The pavilion is equipped to receive the visitors of the exhibition in its new session. 

The wide participation of the center includes a diverse presentation of a number of discussions during four seminars on Saturday and Monday throughout the book fair.

Participation begins with a symposium entitled : “Restructuring: The Balance of Power Equation in the Middle East,” on Saturday, January 25, 2025 – in the Writer and Writers Hall – Plaza 2 at 1:30 pm, to discuss, through a group of participating experts, the rapid transformations that the Middle East has witnessed during the last decade, while highlighting the balance of power equation in the region, by analyzing the distinctive characteristics of the region and its sub-regions that include the eastern Mediterranean, The Arabian Gulf region and the Maghreb region. 

The second symposium, entitled: “A Changing Middle East…Towards Building an Egyptian Strategy” will discuss New”, on Monday, January 27, 2025 – in the main hall – Plaza 1 at six in the evening, will discuss the emergence of a new wave of unrest and instability in the Middle East region in the wake of the repercussions of the Gaza and Lebanon wars and the fall of the Syrian regime.

The third symposium will also be presented, entitled: “Egyptian Expectations for the Region and the World.” In 2025" Saturday, February 1st – Writer and Writers Hall – Plaza Building 2, at three in the evening, a discussion of the annual book issued by the Egyptian Center for Strategic Thought and Studies on the most prominent potential expectations for the future of Egypt, the region, and the world in the year 2025. 

The Center concludes its seminars on Monday, the third of February, in the main hall. – Plaza 1 at six in the evening, in the fourth symposium, entitled: “A new approach to building an Arab system to confront terrorism and Israeli expansion.” It aims to discuss opportunities to build an effective regional system by strengthening Arab cooperation in the security and intelligence fields, and investing in economic development as a tool to confront terrorism and extremism.

In a related context of the Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies’ participation in the exhibition, there will be 10 signing parties for the 10th edition. New books on days starting from Saturday and continuing throughout the days of the exhibition until its conclusion with “Every Day a Book” Except on Friday. The collection of books includes several important topics and comes with a variety of titles, including the books: “The Rise of Trump… Transformations in American Policy in the Twenty-First Century,” “500 Days of War on Gaza: Impossible Outcomes!”, “Encyclopedia of the October War.” In a three-part series that includes the War of Attrition… The Road to October Victory, the Epic of Crossing… Military Victory, and Political Victory… Egypt Makes Peace.

The list of signatures also includes books including: "The Trump Era… Economic nationalism in the face of globalization”, “The conflict in Ethiopia…the crisis project and its regional repercussions” And “The Great Transformations: Reshaping the Global Map.”

It is noteworthy that the Cairo International Book Fair officially opened on Thursday, January 23, and will continue for two weeks.
