The Council of Muslim Elders welcomes the completion of peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Council of Muslim Elders, headed by His Eminence the Grand Imam, welcomes a. D. Ahmed Al -Tayyib, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, with the announcement of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia to complete the peace negotiations between them, noting that this important step would contribute to achieving peace and promoting stability in the Caucasus region. The two countries, confirming the council’s support for all efforts to enhance peace and spread the values of dialogue, tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood.
