January is a clean slate. Whether you’re into resolutions and optimisation, or prefer to start the year softly, there is just something nice about a fresh vanity to ring in 2025. All vetted and approved by RUSSH, all guaranteed to ensure your January is just a little bit sweeter.
Read on for our January picks.
Emma Lewisham Sunceutical SPF 50+
Just in from Emma Lewisham, a fresh iteration of the brand’s original mineral sunscreen. Sunceutical uses zinc oxide to protect against UV rays, as well as niacinamide, peptides and saccharide isomerate for even tone and deep hydration. It has a soft rosy tint and cushiony texture — it’s probably best for normal to dry skin.
La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift 30ml
If you’ve long lusted after La Prairie, or are a frequent flier, you’ll be pleased to hear the brand’s iconic Skin Caviar Liquid Lift now comes in a 30 ml size. The suspended pearls dissolve when you press them into the skin, creating a silky serum that lifts, firms and unifies skin tone.
Rationale Radiance Booster Serum
Rationale have gone and made our dreams come true with the new Radiance Booster Serum. The formula sits outside the ‘Signature 6’ because it offers pure hydration — think plumped, glassy-looking skin.
CHANEL JEUX DE LUMIÈRES palette
This is a limited edition palette, and part of CHANEL’s Spring-Summer makeup collection. With four ethereal shades in various tones of pink and peach, it’s the easiest way to cultivate starlit skin without too much sparkle — it’s more iridescent. It works on the eyes, cheekbones, cupid’s bow, on top of blush — wherever you want to look luminous.
Dior Capture Totale Retishot Night Concentrate
Dior has officially dipped its toe into retinol. Retishot Night Concentrate has a 0.1% pure retinol, and has been clinically tested to prove it targets signs of ageing. From scarring and age spots to lines and wrinkles, the light serum improves general skin health in as little as two weeks.
Sunday Riley C.E.O Vitamin C Brighten + Tighten Body Butter
Sunday Riley’s much-loved vitamin C complex now comes in a body butter. It smells fresh, a little citrusy, and is perfect for anyone with spots, marks or scars left over from body acne, sun damage or ingrown hairs. Outside of that, it’s super hydrating and leaves a nice sheen.
Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Cream
If you want a classic moisturiser that’s also full of skin-nourishing vitamins, I recommend this new one from Dermalogica. It has vitamins A, C, E, peptides, niacinamide, panthenol, squalane… It could basically replace your entire morning skincare routine (just add sunscreen).
Paula’s Choice Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution
We all know Paula doesn’t play around when it comes to chemical exfoliation, her 2% BHA is legendary. This formula contains salicylic acid to unclog pores, plus allantoin and green tea to simultaneously reduce the look of redness. It’s also a good formula to soothe post-pimple marks.
Ultra Violette Fave Fluid SPF 50+
Ultra Violette’s latest is this milky, zinc-based mineral sunscreen. It’s fresh (not chalky) and has a super subtle, almost invisible tint to offset any white cast. It takes little to no effort to blend, and works well alone, or under makeup.
Necessaire Rosemary Shampoo
Maybe you’re interested in rosemary oil for hair health, maybe you just like the smell, but this new shampoo from Necessaire is super lush. It smells like a garden, and is enriched with ceramides plus protein for long, strong hair.
