Welp, looks like The Amazing Race Australia has officially hit a pothole bigger than the ones you dodge in a tuk-tuk at full speed in Indonesia. Brendan Fevola is reportedly leading a push to get SAS Australia‘s Ant Middleton cut from the upcoming Celebrity Edition of the series after an alleged off-camera incident involving Ant’s brother and influencers Luke and Scott O’Halloran (aka Luke and Sassy Scott). It is messy as hell.
According to multiple sources, tensions exploded during some downtime while the show was filming overseas. Ant Middleton’s brother, Dan Middleton, allegedly made critical comments about popular TikTok duo Luke and Scott O’Halloran (@LukeAndSassyScott) who are some of the most beloved creators on Aussie TikTok right now.
Naturally, Dan’s alleged behaviour didn’t sit well with a lot of the cast. And sources claim Fev, being the big dog that he is, has stepped up to try and make sure Ant gets the chop or at least cops a brutal reality TV edit as a result of his brother’s alleged behaviour. Which is sometimes worse than being in the show at all.
And look, it’s not the first time a reality show has had to kick someone to the curb over allegedly inappropriate comments. Earlier this month, actor Mickey Rourke was booted from the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother house after making offensive remarks towards JoJo Siwa. Showing just how seriously ‘TV producers’ are taking discrimination and bullying nowadays.

In a statement, Network Ten confirmed that a team has been disqualified from the competition after a “breach of the production’s code of conduct”. The incident occurred “on a day off from production”.
Peep the full statement from a Ten spokesperson below:
“Network 10 takes the health, safety and well-being of all contestants seriously. Following a breach of the production’s code of conduct by one contestant, on a day off during production, a team from The Amazing Race Australia was disqualified and swiftly sent home.”
Important to note: Ant Middleton himself wasn’t directly involved in the alleged comments but his brother’s actions have definitely put a stink on things.

It’s giving drama, it’s giving damage control, and with the new season of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition heading into post-production, it’s now up to Network Ten to figure out whether they’re going to edit around the alleged controversy or try to pretend it never happened.
