Terrifying reason judges across the US are receiving unexpected pizza deliveries amid war with Trump

A judge has revealed the terrifying epidemic of unexpected pizza deliveries to US judges’ homes across the country amid their war with Trump as he battles his executive orders through court. 

US District Court Judge Esther Salas labeled the deliveries an ‘intimidation tactic’ on Friday after a slew of judges faced Trump’s wrath after they blocked his executive orders. 

‘I found out about it on Tuesday night, and we had already known about hundreds of pizzas that had been going out to judges all over this country,’ she told MSNBC

Salas said the deliveries were meant as a threat.  

‘The point is, someone wants that judge, someone wants those judges to know, “I know where you live,”‘ she said. 

Not only were the pizzas being delivered to the judges’ homes, but also to the homes of their children, Salas added. 

‘So now, “We know where you live and we know where your children live,”‘ she continued. 

The pizzas were not only mere intimidation tactics, but they also served as a cruel reminder of heartache for Salas, whose son was killed by a man posing as a FedEx driver in 2020.

The pizza deliveries were also sent to some the judges' houses under Judge Salas' dead son's name and she added: 'What does that say to these judges? it says, "I know where you live, I know where your kids live, and do you wanna end up like Judge Salas"

‘I was told that the second pizza that arrived at this judges house was sent by my son, Daniel Anderl,’ she said. ‘My baby boy who we lost on July 19, 2020.’ 

‘Well, they’re not done yet because just this week, we now have six pizzas that have been delivered to judges and their kids, and the sender on that pizza is my son, my murdered sons name is now being attached, weaponized… against these judicial officers,’ Salas said. 

‘What does that say to these judges? it says, “I know where you live, I know where your kids live, and do you wanna end up like Judge Salas?”,’ she continued. 

‘”Do you wanna end up like her son?” These are unprecedented attacks on judicial officers, they come in the form of pizzas being delivered at 10 something at night,’ she said. 

‘One of my colleagues, two cars rolled up after 10.30 in the night, and his family was already sleeping,’ she said. 

‘We have to do something,’ she said. ‘These are attacks.’ 

Salas said that the attacks are just one of the many methods used recently. 

‘Some of our members of congress calling for our impeachment because we’re doing our jobs, members of this administration calling us “rouge,” calling us “crazy leftist-unconstitutional judges”, or coming in the forms of these acts of intimidation,’ Salas listed.

 ‘As troubling as it is, the men and women that took an oath and wear the robe will continue to do our jobs because we know that justice requires that we do so,’ she continued. 

‘But we need our leaders – whether republicans, democrats, independents – to stand up for justice, to stand up to these attacks.’ 

She further called on political leaders to demonstrate that they ‘believe in democracy above all else.’ 

‘We are looking to shine light on this issue, not heat,’ she said. ‘We are all Americans here…’

The troubling ‘intimidation tactics’ come as judges across the country have been facing Trump’s wrath as they block his executive orders. 

One such judge, James Boasberg, has been a target of the President’s fury after Boasberg blocked his deportation flights of illegal immigrant gang members in March. 

The move led Trump to label Boesberg as ‘disgraceful’ and accused him of trying to ‘usurp the power of the presidency.’

Trump says that there is ‘no way for a Republican, especially a TRUMP REPUBLICAN, to win before’ Boasberg. 

‘Boasberg, who is the Chief Judge of the D.C. District Court, seems to be grabbing the “Trump Cases” all to himself, even though it is not supposed to happen that way,’ Trump added. 

Many republicans have argued that the Obama picked judge be impeached. 

The attack even led Trump pick Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts to defend Boasberg. 

‘For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision,’ Roberts said in a curt statement issued by the Supreme Court. ‘The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.’

By that, Roberts meant that if the Trump administration has a problem with a judge’s ruling, it should appeal and fight the issue in court – rather than savage a Senate-confirmed judge in public.

Boasberg is not the only judge to oppose Trump’s executive orders, as many across the country continue to block or extend blocks on them.

Boston Judge Indira Talwani said she will block Trump’s administration from revoking the temporary legal status of hundreds of thousands of Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans. 

Talwani said the decision to cut short a two-year parole granted to the migrants under former President Joe Biden’s administration was based on an incorrect reading of the law. 

Judges in New York and Texas dealt a blow to Trump’s deportation efforts earlier this week, as the administration attempted to deport more alleged gang members.

Rhode Island Judge John McConnell ordered earlier this month that the Trump administration had violated a court order by halting Federal Emergency Management Agency’s disbursement of millions of dollars in grant funding to states. 

As many other judges continue to object and block certain orders from the President, the Republican-led House of Representatives voted on Wednesday to curtail the ability of judges to issue nationwide blocks. 

The House voted 219-213 in favor of the No Rogue Rulings Act, a bill that top Republican lawmakers have called a priority after numerous judges ruled against Trump’s executive orders and policies used to implement his immigration crackdown and government downsizing initiatives.

The bill now goes to the Senate, where it will need to secure 60 votes to become law.

 Republican Speaker Mike Johnson has touted it as an alternative to calls by some of Trump’s allies in the chamber to impeach judges who block the Republican president’s agenda.

‘No one single activist judge should be able to issue a nationwide injunction to stop a president’s policies,’ Johnson told Fox News host Sean Hannity. 

But the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee Rep. Jamie Raskin said the bill would ‘defeat the whole concept of the rule of law.’
