Taylor Swift is IN HIDING, not speaking to friends… and concerned insiders say they know why

We’re living in a world dominated by Taylor Swift.

In fact, there have been times in recent months when it’s felt like not a day goes by that the 35-year-old billionairess doesn’t make global headlines.

And, when she steps out from her private jets or multi-million-dollar mansions, we’ve become accustomed to seeing her with a bevy of gal pals.

Whether it’s her ‘squad’ of A-list besties who attend her annual July 4th parties, or newer friends like fellow Kansas City Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes – who often now joins Swift in the stands to cheers on her tight-end boyfriend Travis Kelce – the pop superstar is rarely unaccompanied.

But in recent weeks, she has mysteriously gone to ground.

She hasn’t been seen at her usual trendy New York haunts – such as eateries The Corner Store or Emilio’s Ballato.

And her Instagram feed – usually full of self-promotional new content – has remained largely quiet.

Now, a source tells the Daily Mail that Swift is in hiding – as she battles against being dragged into her long-time friend Blake Lively’s messy legal spat with Justin Baldoni.

Not only is her once-unbreakable bond with Lively now said to be on the rocks, but Swift is increasingly avoiding many of her friends and seeking support from Kelce during this trying time, our insider says.

At the heart of the crisis are claims, strongly disputed by Swift, that she was involved in the production of It Ends With Us – the ill-fated film starring Lively and Baldoni, which was released last summer and which ended in recrimination between the two actors and a raft of lawsuits.

In December, Lively, 37, filed a bombshell complaint accusing Baldoni – her director and co-star – of sexual harassment on set.

Baldoni, 41, then countersued in January, alleging defamation.

Both actors deny all allegations against them but, contained in Baldoni’s countersuit, were alleged text messages sent by Lively naming her friend Swift.

There was also the claim that Swift had been present at a meeting – held in January last year at Lively’s New York apartment – at which, Baldoni alleges, the actress, along with her husband Ryan Reynolds, aggressively confronted him over script changes, leaving Baldoni ‘in shock’.

A source previously told the Daily Mail that Swift never planned to be at the meeting, but rather arrived at Lively’s penthouse to find it ongoing.

Swift and Lively were close until this legal battle began – the singer is godmother to Lively’s three young daughters – but the crisis has rocked the foundations of their decade-long friendship, with insiders saying Swift now feels ‘used’.

She is reportedly no longer speaking to Lively and is taking a step back from their friendship – and the public eye.

So what has Swift been doing instead?

‘She has been with Kelce and the two of them just returned from a romantic vacation,’ a source told the Daily Mail.

The couple are now back in the United States having ‘reconnected’ abroad following the Chiefs’ punishing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl on February 9.

It wasn’t until Monday evening – when the pair were spotted enjoying a lowkey date night in Park City, Utah – that they had been seen publicly since that loss over a month ago.

Recently, and as well Brittany Mahomes, Swift’s closest pals have included actress Zoe Kravitz, stylist Ashley Avignone, model Gigi Hadid, and fellow musicians Ice Spice and the Haim sisters.

But even some of them are said to be getting the silent treatment.

‘She is still in touch with a select few but currently doesn’t want to be dragging anyone else into this mess,’ our source revealed, adding: ‘Swift is very aware of the speculation surrounding her involvement in It Ends with Us.’

Swift has denied being a producer on the movie and separate sources have corroborated she had ‘no creative involvement’ in it.

‘She has nothing to hide,’ our source maintained.

Luckily, the Pennsylvania-born songstress has been able to find comfort in Kelce, 35, who she has been dating since September 2023 after a brief fling with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

Swift has rarely been spotted in public following the end of her sold-out, 22-month Eras Tour last December. And engagement rumors are still swirling around her and Kelce.

‘She is going to continue to lay low and is quite content playing house with the man she loves,’ our source confirmed.

Kelce owns a 17,000-square-foot mansion just 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City. The sprawling $6 million suburban home was said to have been purchased with privacy in mind.

And the hideout will be needed, for Swift may soon be subpoenaed and questioned under oath if Lively’s legal saga reaches court next March, according to a well-informed source.

So with that lawsuit battle raging, it is perhaps no surprise that Swift is seeking comfort in Kelce, and closing off from the world, as she comes to terms with her broken friendship – and a potential date in court.
