As I previously mentioned, this isn’t the first time Berger has decorated her lawn with skeletons. In fact, it has become a 20-year tradition that started with one skeleton and grew exponentially. “I surveyed it and thought, ‘He looks a little lonely,’” she told People magazine. “So I added three more, all in playful poses: one doing a backbend, another with a hula hoop, and a third in a cartwheel.”
Berger continued, “Eventually, our local newspaper named the skeleton in the tree ‘Lazy Bones,’ which inspired me to give the rest of the skeletons punny names that matched their poses.” Now, the Skeleton Home garners thousands of visitors each year, in addition to virtual fans who follow along on the house’s official Instagram page.
I wasn’t ready for this.
