Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge is defending her friend and podcast co-host Teddi Mellencamp amid rumors that she allegedly had an affair with her horse trainer.
Last week, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed the allegations Mellencamp was having a months-long affair with her German-born horse trainer Simon Schröeder, which was the catalyst behind her divorce from her husband of 13-years, Edwin Arroyave.
Now, however, Mellencamp’s Two T’s In a Pod co-host, Judge, is hoping that the couple can ‘work it out.’
‘I cannot really share too much. This is Teddi and Edwin’s life and they’ve been married for a long time and they have four kids and I just wish her and Edwin well,’ Judge recently told Us Weekly on Monday during the 11th Annual American Reality Television Awards.
‘I hope that they get to work it out — however and whatever that looks like to them,’ she continued. ‘I know that they’re both amazing people.’
The Vena CBD founder added that she ‘just wants the best’ for both Mellencamp and Arroyave.
However, it’s unclear if there is a path forward for the couple, as they are now feuding over spousal support amid their contentious divorce battle.
On Friday, Arroyave, 47, filed his response to Mellencamp’s divorce petition and is reportedly pushing back on her custody and spousal support requests.

Mellencamp’s affair was uncovered by DailyMail.com as a source said that Schröeder’s wife, Karli Postel (left), learned of the alleged affair while she was giving birth to her second child.
Mellencamp had requested primary custody of their three children — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, four — with ‘reasonable and frequent visitation’ for Arroyave in her divorce filing, which she filed last week and announced a day later on November 2.
According to legal documents, Arroyave is contesting and asking for joint physical and legal custody of their minor children.
Mellencamp’s alleged affair was uncovered by DailyMail.com as a source said that Schröeder’s wife, Karli Postel, learned of the affair while she was giving birth to her second child.
‘Karli thought it was suspicious that her husband was in Florida when she was giving birth,’ the source told DailyMail.com.
‘When Simon returned, Karli found text messages on Simon’s phone that exposed the affair. She confronted Simon and Teddi about it and they confessed. Teddi promised it would not happen again.’
‘Karli didn’t tell Edwin when she found out. She was willing to give Simon another chance and stayed with him. But last month, Karli found proof that the affair was ongoing and that it had become “emotional.”
‘Edwin only learned of the affair late last month when Karli told him.’
The source claims that Teddi decided to file for divorce once she got caught in the alleged affair.

On Monday, the former RHOBH spoke out and admitted that she was ‘not okay.’
Sharing a photo of a healthy green juice, Mellencamp let her feelings out in an Instagram post by writing, ‘It’s okay not to be okay.’
She continued, ‘We are humans. We make mistakes. We have highs and lows but it’s one foot in front of the other. It’s Monday morning.
‘Thank you to my @goallinbyteddi team. I am up following my morning routine.’
She followed the post with a short clip of herself on the treadmill, captioning it, ‘Needed this run.’
