A woman has been dragged into the back of a police van in Sydney’s CBD after being arrested during a statewide sting targeting dial-a-dealers.
The young woman, dressed in a revealing black top and white shorts, was arrested on November 22 by an undercover police officer posing as an eshay.
Video of the arrest shows that police uncovered bags of white powder inside a bag that appeared to belong to the woman, along with a large pile of $50 notes.
It is unclear whether the woman was formally charged, but she was arrested as part of a strike force aiming to bust open dial-a-dealer schemes predominantly related to cocaine between November 22 and December 7.
Of these, 64 were charged with supplying a prohibited drug, 44 were charged with drug possession offences, and one person was also charged with domestic violence-related crimes.
More than $20,000 worth of drugs were seized, including 560g of cocaine, 78 MDMA caps, weed, ketamine and ice.
Almost $99,000 of cash and several cars were also seized.
