
Hundreds of Sydney Train services have been cancelled as members of the state’s rail union have gone on strike, causing chaos for commuters across Sydney.
Widespread delays are expected after members of the Rail, Tram and Bus Union escalated their industrial action on Wednesday.
As of 6.30am, hundreds of services had already been cancelled with even more delayed, ahead of the peak hour commute.
Commuters are being warned to expect ‘major’ delays, as back-to-back services across the rail network are cancelled.
The strike has caused chaos across train platforms in Sydney, as frustrated commuters wait desperately for a service.
