Swifties Review-Bomb Restaurant Owned By Eagles Player’s Mum After He Dissed Travis Kelce

In a bizarre turn of events following the Super Bowl, an Eagles player’s taunt aimed at Travis Kelce has sparked an unexpected online battle involving Taylor Swift fans and the player’s mother. The drama unfolded after Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson took to social media to celebrate his team’s victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Gardner-Johnson posted inflammatory comments on X (formerly Twitter) after the game, according to Yahoo News. The posts included “… Swifties gonna be crying to Jason [Kelce] about this” and “Honestly respect [Taylor] for not wearing Chiefs gear”.

But the real kicker was when he posted an Instagram Story of a photo of himself facing off with Kelce on the field, captioned “Should’ve Stayed w [sic] that thick shit,” talking about Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole.

Swifties and Chiefs fans weren’t happy about this and decided to get even. They went after Kings Grill, a family restaurant in Rockledge, Florida, owned by Gardner-Johnson’s mum.

Soon, the restaurant’s Yelp and Google pages were swamped with bad reviews, saying things like, “If I could leave zero stars, I would” and, “Terrible customer service and average food”. One Redditor claims that people were also making ICE reports against Johnson’s mother, however PEDESTRIAN.TV has not been able to independently verify this.

Eagles fans then jumped in to defend the restaurant, leaving loads of good reviews. This online fight got so intense that Yelp had to step in, putting an “Unusual Activity Alert” on the restaurant’s page and stopping new reviews. Google seems to have wiped recent reviews too, according to the Daily Mail.

Concerned fans have been disappointed in Taylor’s lack of response to the situation. “This isn’t the message she preaches, and while she cannot control other peoples’ lunacy if she continues to say nothing and turn a blind eye to this shit being committed in her name then why should be believe any progressive stance she ever takes again?” said one Redditor.

Others are defending Swift, since Gardener-Johnson pulled the first move.

And most just want to leave Gardner-Johnson’s mother out of the mess.

Surprisingly, Gardner-Johnson’s parents don’t seem too worried about all this. As it turns out, Kings Grill has been closed since January, according to NY Daily News, making this whole review war pretty pointless.
