Super Bowl-winning coach Jon Gruden has accepted a new job, but it’s not in pro football.
Instead, the 61-year-old – who resigned as the Raiders coach in 2021 – has taken his talents to Barstool Sports for a currently unspecified role.
Gruden signed a multi-year contract with the company, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Barstool boss David Portnoy also shared a video confirming the news, with the clip showing Gruden teaching the founder and several other employees a play on a whiteboard.
The move comes three years after Gruden left his role with the Raiders after he was shown to have used racist and homophobic language in leaked emails.

However, Gruden is currently suing the NFL and alleging that the league leaked the emails itself and forced him to resign.
The emails were sent from 2011 to 2018 – when Gruden worked for ESPN – to ex-Commanders president Bruce Allen.
They messages were found amid some 650,000 emails the league obtained during a workplace culture investigation of the Washington team.
Gruden was the Buccaneers’ head coach from 2002 to 2008, winning Super Bowl XXXVII with Tampa Bay, and also coached the Raiders in Oakland from 1998 to 2001.
He rejoined the franchise in 2018 and coached them for another 53 games before resigning in the middle of the 2021 season.

However, some have recently expressed the belief that he was close to an NFL return.
This week, former NFL quarterback and current WFAN radio host Boomer Esiason said Gruden ‘100 percent’ wants another shot in the league.
‘I can also confirm… that there are teams that are interested in him. And if it’s not year, it’s next year. But he’s coming back, he’s definitely coming back.
