The high-power lawyers of the “Suits” universe get a revamp in the long-awaited spinoff series that premieres this weekend, and with it a a whole new West Coast wardrobe. Ahead of “Suits LA,” Boss has partnered with NBC on a brand new workwear collection inspired by the show.
The mens and womenswear lineup, which “exudes power and elegance,” according to their website, include polo shirts, silk-blend ties, slim-fit trousers, tweed blazers, mini skirts and more pieces that are so elegant they could help a college dropout weasel their way into one of the most elite law firms in the country — even without Michael’s magnetic charm.
The curated edit takes clear inspiration from the spin-off’s characters, some of which carry over from the original series. Ted Black (Stephen Amell) would definitely take to this navy three-piece suit, paired with this silk jacquard-patterned tie. Erica Rollins (Lex Scott Davis), meanwhile, would be a fan of this fitted blazer in a playful melange sharkskin fabric.
Additionally, BOSS will donate a portion of proceeds from the collection to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles’ ReBUILD LA campaign – a long-term emergency response campaign to assist people with limited means affected by the California wildfires to rebuild their homes, relocate to other housing, obtain essential supplies, and restore their lives.
“Suits LA” is led by Armell as Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself and is representing powerful clients in Los Angeles. The new series premieres on NBC on Feb. 23., and will be available to stream on Peacock the next day.
