Strengthening defences: India-France aim to finalise Rafale & Scorpene deals before the end of FY24
Synopsis
India is set to bolster its defence capabilities with the impending finalisation of two major deals with France, worth nearly Rs 1 lakh crore. These agreements include the acquisition of 26 Rafale-Marine jets and construction of three additional Scorpene-class submarines, enhancing India’s naval and aerial military strength.
