Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, during the current week from December 14 to 20, carried out a number of activities, including the opening of a number of strategic and national projects related to the renewable energy sector, as part of the government’s keenness to enhance the country’s ability to provide clean and sustainable energy. To support economic and industrial development, in addition to holding a number of meetings with international and regional partners in the fields of aviation and mineral wealth, in addition to monitoring the position of a number of major investment projects and observing the latest developments in them, within the framework of the government’s keenness to achieve The desired goals, and overcoming obstacles to their implementation. 

The Cabinet Media Center reviewed – in its weekly report – the most prominent activities of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, as he opened the “Abydos 1 Solar Energy” station. In the Kom Ombo desert, the capacity of the station reached 500 megawatts, with investments of half a billion dollars, on an area of ​​10,000 square metres. Madbouly pointed out that the inauguration of the station confirms that Egypt provides an unprecedented opportunity for the national, Arab and foreign private sector to invest in its land. The station also confirms the Egyptian state’s orientation. Towards a qualitative shift in how to deal with its natural resources and employ them more efficiently.

This comes as Madbouly held a meeting with the President of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization and its Secretary-General during Their visit to Egypt, and he confirmed that Egypt’s hosting of the organization’s regional headquarters; It reflects the depth and strength of Egypt’s relations with the United Nations, pointing out that the Egyptian government is making unremitting efforts to improve the aviation security and safety system by developing relevant systems and regulations.  He also held a meeting to follow up on the executive position of the work to develop Ras El Hekma City and rehouse families within the “Shams El Hekma” area, while the value of compensation that has been disbursed so far has reached 5.5 billion pounds. Madbouly’s activity during the week included holding a meeting with the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and his accompanying delegation, where he confirmed that Egypt has many promising investment opportunities in the industrial sector. He also praised the existing cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the petroleum and mining sectors.

< p>Madbouly also chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Nile Waters, indicating the Egyptian state’s keenness to support development efforts in the Nile Basin countries in various fields. Including hydroelectric power generation projects.

According to the report, the Prime Minister held a meeting with the Chairman of Forbes Global Holding Company. and his accompanying delegation, to follow up on consultations on the construction of the “Forbes” Tower. In the New Administrative Capital, he welcomed the cooperation with “Forbes International” To organize its annual conference in the Administrative Capital, which will discuss the most prominent global economic challenges.

Madbouly’s activity – according to the report – included his meeting with the CEO of General Electric Healthcare. and his accompanying delegation, where he reviewed the project to manufacture “sonar” devices. In Egypt as part of the government’s efforts to localize the medical device industry, stressing the government’s readiness to grant the company various benefits and incentives to consider manufacturing more medical devices.
