It varied between the seizure of smuggled medicines not registered with the Egyptian Drug Authority, the absence of the responsible pharmacist director or his representative, and practicing a profession without a license and in unlicensed places.

Five unlicensed manufacturing places were also seized in the governorates of Menoufia and Giza.
