Social Solidarity: Disbursing cash support to a total of 4.7 million families, with total transfers exceeding 41 billion pounds annually.
Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, received a report on the Ministry’s efforts in the social protection axis, with regard to conditional cash support, in-kind support, and crises and disasters.
Conditional cash support
The report indicated that the Ministry disbursed cash support to a total of 4.7 million families benefiting from the cash support programs “Solidarity and Dignity.” And Social Security, with a total cash transfer amounting to 41 billion pounds annually.
The total disbursement of child pension amounted to 13,004,250 Egyptian pounds for 29,724 children, as for the period “July” ; The total disbursed amounts 65,021,250 Egyptian pounds.
The report indicated that all recipients of cash support from Takaful, Karama and Social Security beneficiaries benefit from   services. Support In-kind
As for in-kind support, the report indicated that food baskets were distributed to 18,000 families at a total cost of 2,160,000 Egyptian pounds, and meat was distributed to a number of 308 thousand families, with a total cost of 69,600,000 Egyptian pounds. Cash and in-kind assistance was also provided to a number 14,254,799 beneficiaries, with a total cost of 9,768,427.50 Egyptian pounds, which was made available through the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the General Organization for Social Solidarity.

Crises and Disasters
