Shock reason Married At First Sight bride Susie Bradley was left red-faced at her wedding to NRL star Todd Carney

NRL star Todd Carney and MAFS veteran Susie Bradley tied the knot earlier this month – and her bridesmaids gave him a surprising gift at the ceremony which left his bride red-faced.

In footage shared to TikTok, the former Cronulla Sharks player, 38, is handed a series of polaroids of his beautiful bride, 31, at the star-studded ceremony.

Todd is then seen grinning from ear-to-ear as he takes a peek at the photo, as Susie yelps in embarrassment.

The star athlete continued to be handed polaroids from the bridesmaids at the ceremony, as he laughed it up alongside his beautiful partner.

Wedding content creator Moments by Kait explained in the comments that Todd was given some racy X-rated photos of his bride – hence Susie’s embarrassment.

‘Susie forgot they were giving him these photos of her!’ they wrote.

‘Our boy Todd had the best reaction!’ 

Many fans quickly took to the comment section to share their amusement over the hilarious footage.

‘What if he forgets them in his suit pockets and the dry cleaner gets them?’ one concerned follower asked.

‘Be nice to see what the polaroids are!’ a second user added. 

Earlier this month, Todd and Susie tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor wedding at their home on the Gold Coast.

Sharing photos and videos of the stunning ceremony to Instagram, the happy couple were all smiles as they exchanged vows in front of their loved ones.

Susie stole the show as she arrived at the altar wearing an opulent halter neck gown with an open back which moulded to her figure in a classic silhouette. 

A wave-hemmed train skated along the ground behind her as she pulled her brunette tresses back into a neat up-do.

Elevating her natural beauty with a smoky eye and nude lip, the former reality TV contestant fixed a long white veil in her tresses.

She polished off her simple yet classy look with a set of beautiful pearl earrings and a bouquet of pastel pink and yellow flowers. 

Meanwhile, Todd looked very dapper in his black and white tuxedo.

The pair announced they were engaged for a second time in May 2024.

The couple reconciled in May 2023 after calling off their first engagement in 2022.

Susie, who appeared on season two of Married At First Sight, shared the happy news by posting a video of the romantic moment on Instagram.

In the clip, Todd could be seen getting down on one knee at the beach alongside the couple’s son Lion, three.

‘We met on the Saturday. On the Sunday he took me to this beach where we ate pizza and watched the sunset, and he said the words to me, “Lay back on me,”‘ Susie said.

‘It was in this very moment, on this very beach, laying back in his arms I knew I would love him forever.’

Susie also showed off her impressive engagement ring, which features a large solitaire diamond on a diamond encrusted band.

The couple began dating back in 2019, with Todd stepping into the role of stepfather to Susie’s daughter Baby.
