Hollywood icon Joan Collins was named as a pro-MAGA patriot as she attended a ‘pre-inauguration celebration’ with right-wing friends.
The Dynasty actress, 91, was seen having a ‘lovely dinner with friends’ in a picture shared by conservative actor James Woods to his X account.
‘It evolved from a post-Christmas dinner to a pre-Inauguration celebration,’ Woods captioned the image.
‘Not often in Hollywood you can be surrounded by patriots. What a joyous night.’
Also in attendance was actor Jon Voight, who is Angelina Jolie’s father. He has made no secret of his love for Donald Trump and was recently seen enjoying the election result at the president-elect’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
While Voight and Woods are among Hollywood’s most outspoken MAGA fanatics, many fans were surprised to see Collins in attendance.
‘Is that Joan Collins I see???’ one X user questioned.
Another said: ‘No way Joan Collins is 91 and looking that young!’
‘John Voight is an incredible patriot and Trump supporter as well… nice to see conservatives in Hollywood!’
Joan Collins raised eyebrows this week as she was pictured at a dinner with MAGA loving celebrities including James Woods and John Voight
Collins previously shared how Donald Trump (pictured together in 1989) was an ‘inspiration’ for her iconic character Alexis Carrington from hit show Dynasty
Also present in the snap was Joan’s fifth husband Percy Gibson, 60.
While she has not outed herself as a Trump supporter before, Collins has previously shared how the president-elect was an ‘inspiration’ for her.
She told the Jonathan Ross show in 2017 that Trump was the basis for her character Alexis Carrington from hit show Dynasty.
‘I actually wrote about it years and years ago, that one of the people mentioned was Donald Trump,’ she said.
Collins said she was drawn to Trump ‘because he was a very harsh, tough, clever, devious and manipulative.’
She said she had seen Trump several years before when she was buying an apartment in New York, and said the businessman was ‘very interested’ in her moving into Trump Tower.
‘Thank god we didn’t!’ she added. ‘You know what it’s like now, you have to go through security.’
British-born Collins has long been a proud right-winger, hailing the achievements of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Collins, who is a gay icon, previously railed against stars who lecture the public about politics.
