Sheikh of Al -Azhar: The Islamic nation is in the most needy in need of unity to confront the challenges of the times and victory over its enemies
The Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders, said that the difference between us and our Shiite brothers is a difference of thought and opinion, not a religion group, and the evidence for this is what was reported by the Prophet & quot; ﷺ & quot; In his miraculous hadith, in which the future was seen, we warned us of the dangers of division that may be based on this when he said: & quot; In the sense of we preoccupy our countries on each other, and we envy some of our peoples on each other, then he said: & quot; and they are the ritual, but the religion of the religion & quot; Do not enter Paradise until you believe, and do not believe until you love, do I not tell you about what is proven by you? Divest the peace between you & quot; in the sense of the peace of peace between you and live in it together. & quot; ﷺ & quot; Including what happened on the caliphate, and it was said in it & quot; what a sword in Islam was asceticized as this matter & quot; as they differed during his reign & quot; When he said: & quot; Whoever prays our prayers and receives our kisses and eats our sacrifice, then the Muslim who has the protection of God and His Messenger, do not forgive God in his custody & quot; The European Union countries united, and others, nothing but that they saw this as a necessity of practical life, and we are more than that of all of us from the participants. The Companions, may God be pleased with them, have disagreed, and the Prophet & quot; ﷺ & quot; Their difference, but no one disbelieved anyone from the Companions, and we are the Sunnis we have a lot of contentious issues, so we have the Hanafi school of thought, the Shafi’i school of thought and other doctrines, with all the contentment between them.
