Al-Tayeb pointed out that today’s civilization has intentionally excluded religion from human life, and this has caused a moral vacuum that has no limits. Moreover, material civilization has tried to deify man and satisfy all his desires, and this is the reason for the global chaos we see today, the summary of which is that Whoever has money, weapons, and the media can do whatever he wants in light of the exclusion of the system of values and morals, the weakness of international laws, and their inability to deter aggressors.
The Grand Imam confirmed that Al-Azhar is making great efforts. To revive moral values, spread the values of brotherhood and acceptance of others, and draw attention to the necessity of adhering to them through his educational curricula, preachers, and missionaries spread around the world, pointing out that difference is a divine law that God wanted in his universe, and that if He, the Most High, had willed, He would have created people similar, but He created them different. He made the basis of the relationship between them brotherhood, acceptance and respect for others.
For her part, the Swiss ambassador expressed her great happiness at meeting the Grand Imam, and her country’s appreciation for the efforts made by His Eminence to spread the values of brotherhood.
